Green Park, Reading

The Vitality Reading Half Marathon started in 1983 and at that time the course started and finished on the Whiteknights University campus. Over the years the course has changed quite a lot. It now begins at Green Park, and still takes you through the beautiful grounds of the university and through the town centre to see the crowds lining the streets showing their support. The finishing line is at the majestic Madejski Stadium, with the crowd cheering you on as you enter the stadium and cross the line.
This is a very popular event for both experienced and novice athletes, with many taking part to raise funds for local and national causes.
